Euromatch NPFL | Pantami Stadium, Gombe | Saturday Doma United's impressive start to the 2026/2027 Euromatch-Nigeria Professional Football League campaign continued with a commanding 2–0 victory over Enyimba at the Pantami Stadium. The day's only fixture kicked off at 4:00 pm before an excited crowd. We created the first real opportunity in the 11th minute when Haruna Abubakar delivered a cross from the right flank, but no one was there to finish. Moments later, Daniel Simon squared the ball to Salomon Chigoziem just outside the box, but his effort was well saved by Enyimba goalkeeper Utum Godswill. Our breakthrough came in the 31st minute after our In-form winger Rilwan Sadiq, left unmarked at the far post, pounced on a poor clearance and found the net past the advancing goalkeeper and defenders to give us a deserved lead. It was Sadiq's third goal of the season, making him the first Doma United striker to score in each of the Club's opening three NPFL matches. Enyimba responded with a good chance of their own as Williams turned and shot on goal, but goalkeeper Ibrahim Pius tipped the effort over the bar for a corner. Sadiq thought he had doubled our lead in the 41st minute, but his effort was ruled to be offside. Just before the break, defender Bitrus Philimon produced a crucial clearance to deny Enyimba's Williams a tap-in after good work from Samuel Anakwe, and we went into the interval leading 1–0. After the restart, Adegbite Michael came close to extending our lead with a powerful effort from close range, but the Enyimba goalkeeper produced a fine save. We made our first change in the 56th minute, bringing on Yusuf Fantami for Daniel Simon. Adegbite Michael was later forced off through injury in the 76th minute, with Joshua Abah coming on for his season debut. Doma United's pressure told in the second half when Yusuf Fantami pounced on a spill from the Enyimba goalkeeper, following a thunderous freekick from Bitrus Philimon, to net his first goal of the season and the Club's second of the match. Uche Onwuansoanya and Mojeed Adekunle also came on, replacing Sadiq and Haruna Abubakar respectively. The Savannah Tigers remain unbeaten and yet to concede a goal after three matches.
